*What is a disability and /or permanent condition?
Millions of Canadians have permanent conditions and disabilities – including newcomers!
Examples of disabilities and permanent conditions include:
- Visible disabilities – like being in a wheelchair or needing a cane to walk
- Invisible disabilities – like anxiety, depression, or minor hearing difficulties
- Medical conditions – like high blood pressure, diabetes, or chronic pain
